I have already researched the archives and have found nothing. I know CEL 67 means catalyst system, but what does it mean?? I have a Comptech header and cat, with a GReddy Evo B-pipe with the stock ITR muffler (evo was too loud). Did the car just fart to cause it to go off. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the same cel on my car. Cat failure or 02 sensor. You can reset the ecu, but it will come on again after a couple days or so.

 

secondary o2 sensor not performing up to spec. usually when guys use a test pipe the cel light will come on because the secondary o2 thinks the cat is not performing up to spec because the temp is not hot enough. does not affect performance. only problem is the damn cel light is always on. I had a test pipe on my car and couldn't stand the light staring me in the face. put my stock cat back on and like it this way. BTW, with the comptech cat, should the ligt be on? have you asked comptech about this?
doa serch on "test pipe".... you'll find plenty.
