Default t25 on a mini me? anyone have this done??when do it stop making power?

ok heres whats going on, i have a d15b7 motor with a t25 turbo, it spools very quick but power falls on its face at 5800-6000rpms. so i have a vtec y8 head that will be put on very shortly, and i was wondering since the power band will be different, will the turbo still fall on its face at 6K? i also have a small 16g, i was saving to put on when i put the y8 head on, but i got anxious and put it on today, to see if it would gain more power on the b7, and it is definitley alot slower!

very laggy and doesnt pick up power till 6k(right when i have to shift.) but i will for sure use the 16g when the vtec head is on, but i was just wondering if the t25 would still only be good for 6k or if it would make more power for longer rpms do to vtec?

get a z6 head, too many headaches with the y8 on anything other than a y7 or y8.

it'll kick out at around 6000rpm. T25's are good for 2-6K rpm.. after that they lack top end. I have a d16y8 motor.. past 6000 is weak.

Default T25 works for me

196tq at 4400 rpm, is enough to get me goin'. Just shift sooner to stay in your power band longer. Might want to lower VTEC to about 45k.
