Default Exhaust Problems...

Well I just went over some pretty bad bumps in a rural area that amazingly took my exhaust right off the back...well thank god for the hooks but where it connects with the mid section the bolts I guess came undone and now it was dragging, I was able to pull over and take my Magnaflow(I didnt buy, came with car)off. Now I sound like a Bumble Bee down the street when the throttle opens up. Well does anyone know the name of the bolts needed to bolt it back up. I tried some bolts i have here didnt work....Any suggestion if I can buy them at an Advance Auto Parts or something need car tonight and I dont want to get a ticket because of this problem.

Any bolts should hold it together, just make sure you get them the right length.

Not to be a dick, but this isn't a MAJOR problem. It's just an incomplete exhaust setup.

quarter inch w/ some washers should hold it together.

All the bolts in my stock exhaust were rusted to **** so I just used random bolts that fit into the holes. Are there tears in any of the flanges? You may have to get those fixed before you can bolt it back together.

I wasn't bieng a dick....for one thing is I didn't read your post....look at the time of post the exact time...just stated I went to the store and I got some M8 1.25mmx60mm which is like exact fit with stock but since the magnaflow has bigger holes Im going to put a big nut and then a small one. Just to hold, planning on a new exhaust setup.
