How do I get the !@%% exhaust housing bolts off?
How do I get these bolts off? I tried soaking them in liquid-wrench, but man, they are on there real tight. I already bent down the retaining clamps, so they are not in the way. I am afraid to put too much force on them for fear of breaking them.
Is a torch in my future?
Thanks,
Sonny

yes it sounds like a torch is in your future. heat the housing where the bolts go in and i personally would use a six point wrench and once they start loosening up keep wiggling back and forth.

Dude, theres lock tabs on there. I hope that you noticed this, if not then you gotta bend them down then take the bolts off.
If you did that, then hit them with penetrating lubricant and let it sit for a while.
Might wanna try hitting them with a torch also.

get a 13 mm open and close end wrench with the 6point close end
13mm fit better then a 1/2 inch
