Looking for a little information on ceremic turbine BB turbo.
I'm looking at buying one as a replacement to my blown T3, as you may've seen in my previous thread, i welded my exhaust to my exhaust side, so i'd like to use it if possible. It's a typical T3 exhaust side from a SAAB, i had a Ford turbo stuck in it, it's .48 A/R if that helps any, would this turbo by chance work in the housing, i've been told it won't, but want to make sure. If not, i need to start looking for an exhaust housing and exhaust flange to weld my exhaust to after i saw it off.
I also hear, these turbines tend to grenade, what precautions should i take? What kind of PSI will i need to push to make 300whp on a D16 with 8.5:1 compression?
This is the turbocharger.

15psi is considered the ceiling for the rb20 turbos due to the ceramic turbine wheel.... at and above 15psi, ceramic likes to test the limits of its enclosure (i.e it grenades)
it will be a nice fun turbo in the d.... allowed your oil feed line isnt clogged this time..... and you hook up the water lines
