Default SR20DET T25 turbo w/ Garrett .48 exhaust housing?

SR20DET T25 turbo w/ Garrett .48 exhaust housing?

From what I read, the SR T25 has a .43 exhaust housing. am I able to use the SR20 turbo and use my Garrett exhaust housing? The reason I'm asking is because I only have one car to drive and my turbo is shot so I need something to drive on temporarily.

I WOULD try to get another T3 but the flange for mine is from the older Crystlers with the weird 4 bolt flange and I don't want to buy a new manifold.

IF this method works, how will the car react?

-Thanks.

Look in BMW diesels, Audis, Saabs. Many carry the .48 T3.

SR20DETs have 0.64 A/R T25 turbine housings.

I thought it was only the S15's that had that turbine?

S13 Redtop, s13 Blacktop, and S14 Blacktop has the following for the turbine:
T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.

The trick part comes into pla with the Later s14/S15 turbos:

The later BB S14, Late S15 Spec R, and automatic S15 all had the same same exhaust housing, which is listed above...

The EARLY Spec R S15 Turbo's had a different exhaust turbine housing/specs that I'm not sure of....

I did a quick PN search and came across this as well:

S14 Turbo, Late S15 Spec R, Auto S15 Turbo P/N: 14411-75F00
Early S15 Spec R Turbo P/N: 14411-91F00

Again those P/N are for the actual turbo, but you can see the difference

I'll try to find more info on the s15 turbine though
