S200 bumpers

hi

can u tell me if i can jsut swap the old bumper for the new more recnt bumper...i mean, is it bolt on?? or do i have to chage lghts fenders and everything??

for the front bumper you will need to swap out the splash guards and engine box cover...

The headlights were identical in shape? They always looked different to me...

they are, the location of the ballast is a lil different

The AP2 headlight has a smaller footprint for the ballast. The AP1 ballast will fit with some mod. to the headlight. You should just seal the hole where the igniter enters the headlight, then mount the ballast to the framework. It saves cutting into the new headlight.

Bumper will fit.

But the shape of the housing was unchanged? Thats mainly what i was talking about...as in how it lines up with the bumper itself...

Interesting...the slight changes on the inside of the housing really made it look like the whole thing was different. Thats pretty neat.

yup yup. only thing they did was change the ballast

Actually.. you're going to have a tiny gap between the headlight and the fender, no matter how much you adjust it. It will never fit like your OEM AP1 headlights.

u can retrofit the ap2 bumpers on ur ap1 with very lil work...the headlights of the 2 are same in shape but different in designs the ballasts are shaped differently as well to so to swap that out youll need to grind down the brackets to fit.
