steady check engine light no codes

Default steady check engine light no codes

I have a 91 integra with a ls/vtec. I just converted it to obd1 the check engine light is on and i tryed to jump that little plug up in pass. floor but the light does not blink whats the deal. Im at a bit of a loss. When i start the car it idles really low like 500rpms for about 30 sec. then it Raise to 1000-1200 and the check engine light come on and i cant read a code what should i do.

went i shut the car off and i turn it back to were u start the car but not start it the check engin light is not on but i start it and it come on after a couple of minutes

check the wiring to the ecu...i had a wire that came loose and i didnt even know it (except for the cel)

thanks im a bit baffled it wont rev very hi if i hammer on it the it will rev to like 5300 or so at full throttle

Do you really believe this? Go to an auto parts store and have them scan the ECU for codes.

I just used my buddys p30 and i got the same thing so what do i do now I will just check the wirering for now tilll some one comes up with somthing good

I have the same problem but my light will blink the a KS code while the car is running without the jumper wire non-stop...i tried jumping the wire and it wouldn't do anything .....then it idled the same way...interesting.....I have wired vtec too so maybe one of my wires is run wrong or something

Have an auto parts store connect to the scan port to diagnose the source of the CEL. It has to be in the car.

As far as i know there is no diagnostic port its an 91 integra Im about ready to tare the motor out and put the b18 so i could drive it
