Hey guys, does anyone know where the switch is for the Rear Hatch on my 92 civic cx? I'm assuming the switch is bad, or out of place, so if anyone can tell me where it is located exactly that'd help alot. Thanks!

 

make sure the bottom of the hatch is closed all the way. No switch to replace, just reopen it and slam that bitch. Happens to me some times.

 

ha u're right. i noticed the right side of the hatch was stickin a lil out, and i pused a little harder and it made a click, now the light is gone, thats pretty fawkin weird....

 

Yeah just slam that bitch a few times.

Happened to me all the time and the alarm wouldnt let me start the car lol
So I would have to sit in the parking lot for 30minutes opening and closing the trunk lol

 

I found that whenever this happens to me , usually the pull lever beside the seat is still up because it hangs on the carpet. push it back down then shut the hatch and the light goes out. hope this helps.

 

If you have a problem with it in the future, there is actually a switch on it, just like the dome light. Just switch it down or pull the fuse for the dome light.

 

just got to push it closed some more till it clicks
