Default bouncing idle 800rpm to 2500rpm

Okay i can not seem to figure out my problem. I start my car and immediately it stats bouncing from 2k to 800 back to 2k then 800 over and over. I rev it and it does the same thing. I asjust the idle screw and it only makes it idle faster. All vaccum lines are good. I disconnected the tps and it stopped the reving but idled at 2500-3000 rpms, i dont even have to give my car gas to get going which is not good. What is causing my problem? thanks

the idle is rough itself, the tach shows it properly bouncing.

check your IACV (idel air control valve). maybe it got dirty. take it off and clean it out with carb cleanner. Check your TPS (throttle position sensor) mabye it gone bad or it might be broken. i had the same problem and it was my TPS. check your check engine code before you do all that. it will help.

definitly check the IACV, TPS sensor should output readings of .45 closed and 4.5 at wide open throttle, obviously dont test those reading with the motor running

By the looks of it, you have a 1990 teg, correct?? This is a common issue with these cars. Here is some info that might help

Check those first as it seems those are the main culprits.
