Aight. i jsut gotta 94 hatch.5spd. It had the 1.5 non vtec.and the kid swapped a 1.5 jdm vtec! WTF IS THAT??like whats the power range on em. Oh and he said when u hit vtec the check engine light is on? whats up with that? hes got the vtec grounded to the thermo houses...... oh its gotta chip... and when u first start it, it runs like ****, like u hit the gas it bogs, and smells highly of raw gas.... JDM D15B pumps around 127hp, get rid of your chipped ECU and get yourself a P08 and wire Vtec correctly. Trust me after you've done that your car will run like a champ. Good Luck

For sure. The chip is what is making the car smell like gas and run like ****. It's pumping the engine FULL of gas and it can't handle all the gas the chip is giving it.

Just in case you can't find a P08 for sale, PM Drew95eg he gets some from time to time. I've also heard hmotorsonline.com sells them for $100. The only way your going to make a D15B "UNGODLY FAST" is going to be if you turbocharge it. No other way.

Define "UnGodly Fast".

 

For now until you get a p08 just advance the timing quite a bit. should be cool after that. Make sure you have an intake and exhaust if not put one on to help the car breath. maybe a header. your looking for more air and advanced timing to make the chip work.

 

lol UNGODLY i mean like 12's. And how much could i piece together a decent turbo kit for?or does anyone know of anyone that is selling one. Oh i already have aem intake,dc headers, 2 1/2 stairt exhaust to a THRUSH style muffler......later on
