Default TIMING BELT PART DEUX

Ok i am going to change my timing belt but honda gave me a price of around $570 cdn now for me thats alot of cash and considering some kid who used to do oil changes 2 yrs ago will probably be doing the work on my car i am considering going to an alternative mechanic, hes is going to replace my balance shaft and my timing belt for around $420 the parts are roughly same price but labour is much less. Now if i go to him and do this work would it in any way void my extended warranty i purchased through honda im thinking not because its not like the timing belt is a warranty item, any suggestions would be kick ***

$570 cdn to replace your timing belt is a good price...make sure you replace the water pump, tensioner, and balancer belt while they're doing it.
