Doing my timing belt.

Sorry to the mods for wasting space. I am going to do my timing belt but was wondering if I should replace the belt tensioner or not. Thank you in advance.
technically your suppose to but you can get away with not doing it. inspect the belt tensioner and make sure it's in good condition. it's good insurance to replace it anyway since you have access to it once you replace the timing belt.
Best to buy a kit that contains, at a minimum, the water pump, tensioner and timing belt.
If you don't change the tensioner and water pump, and the bearings go out, you will basically have to do the job all over again.
For the little they cost, replace it.
