Burning Oil!!
I have been losing oil at a rate of about 1/2 a quart every two tanks of gas (~550-600mi.). I checked my engine bay and fixed all the exterior leaks: cam plug, valve cover gasket. I've done a leak down and no major pressure drops. My compression is 150, 150, 150, 140; a little low but even. I can't see any smoke coming out of my tail pipe either.
I'm stumped!!!
Any other suggestions?
Any advice will be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
Joe

umm...have you checked your oil pan? do you see any oil on the ground when you leave a spot after parking a while? you could be burning oil just because the car is old. how many miles on it?

I have 140K on my GSR and burn NOOO oil between oil changes. I used synthetic oil during the whole life of the car and 3k intervals.
maybe you abused your engine and didnt maintain it properly.

most likely its the pistons rings
