Is there anyway to put type-r cams in a b18b1?
Im not sure if this is even possible or not, but if i remember correct i read this in a forum once before. Is this possible? If so, would i just swap valve springs too? I hear these cams are just as good as crower. And i have a honda/acura performance magazine that says big cams are no good for turbo.

yeah u can use those cams, but it would be pointless because you dont have vtec..
get a vtec head, then use those cams, it would be more power

So i guess you are turboing? No need for such high lifting cams. Too much lift on the exhaust cam allow reversed exhaust flow back into the cylinder on a turboed header. Save your money and strengthen your bottom end or do watever you want.

No, you can't use VTEC cams on a non-VTEC head. You need the VTEC cylinder head to do this, which will wake your b18b up! Search for LS-VTEC or LS-V, or LS/VTEC. There are hundreds of threads on this.

I'm glad that someone can provide a serious answer.
