can d16a pass smog in cali by changing manifold?

eg civic hatch cx with d16a. i herd if you change the intake manifold it can passs smog? is this true?? if so which manifold is it? if not is there any legal way to pass a d16a?

D16A6 from a CRX? if so, no you cannot pass. the motor needs to be from the same year, or newer than you car.
