i need to smog my car for registration but i'm lazy about changing the intake manifold back to the stock one... my motor is d16z6 btw. if anyone has tried and failed or tried and passed with the manifold on..please let me know.

Should be no reason it won't pass. Just make sure all vaccum lines and smog controls are in tact.

 

ok..i went to the smog check today and my emissions passed, but now they said that it didn't pass the visual check cus there is no carb e.o. number on the intake manifold that they can see so i have to get one but on the site it says carb pending for the d16z6...what would i be able to do to get a carb e.o. number or sticker or whatnot to show that its legal...they said as long as its on a paper and says that its the skunk2 manifold for my year car or the motor in the car and that it is legit then i'm straight. any ideas?

 

if it is carb pending its not legal yet. so there is no EO numbe you can get until it is approved.
