It will be a diff. not a omg diff. but enough. Do you have any friends that work at circuit city or best buy? If so use thier discount. Trust me it kicks some butt!!!

viper 791 Is 501.99 installed without discount its 277 installed with!

I'm working at Circuit City. I'm not too impressed with the employee discount. It's usually cheaper to buy something on sale and cash in the rebate, which you can't do if you get it with the employee discount. The only way to get a good discount is on the things they offer factory direct, but right now there isn't a whole lot. I passed some stupid/easy online test for Polk and supposedly I can get a 70% discount. Called them and left a message and haven't got a call back. But if there's anyone local to me (I wont ship) wants something, I can probably get away with a few things until they catch on if the Polk discount comes through. As long as I can make some money, otherwise, don't bother me.

I got JL Audio VR525-CSi powered by a high output Alpine. Love em.

Infinity Reference series are pretty good speakers for the money, but there isn't a whole lot of bass to them. If you're not running a subwoofer, I would probably go with something like a Polk Audio set up or something similar.

I work at circuitcity too. Try checking the accomodations..70% off of ALL kicker products, 70% off of a lot of infinity products, etc...

Thats pretty good compared to buying it retail + free install if you work in the car/radio.
