Bose speakers question?
Wuddup Fellas,
I was lookin for a good speaker setup for my eg and was wondering if the bose interior systems that come in the newer hondas would go in mine. Does anyone know if they will and where I can get a pair for the front speakers?

Bose is expensive, especially the ones that come in newer cars. I would suggest some component speaker systems and dynamat to deaden road and outside noise. If you have the cash then get them, they should fit.

Nooooooo bose, there are just talked up p.o.s.
Find a audio shop around you and buy speakers, save yourself some money and install yourself. Go for JL's or Alpine (Type-E if your on a tight budget). Seriously don't get bose, i've been around a friends work for 5+ years helping install audio equipment. I've seen numerous, brand new cars, with a bose system come in for a complete overhaul. A nice set of JL's for the front and a small amp to run all speakers and youll be happy with your decision.

figure out your budget then you can make a much better decision. I have diamond components and love them, the clarity is unbelievable. but they were expensive, but definitely worth it.

I was pretty impressed with my buddies system in the new accord. I don't know of a brand that offers that much clarity and thump without adding major equipment. If anyone knows of a good brand that competes with bose please let me know. I haven't heard much about JL, but what I have heard was not good.

Re: Bose speakers question?
bass sounds better than my friends bose stock system lexus, and my dads jbl system in his high lander. The price is high, but i go mines at a steal at $250 per set used. You could ask around about other people setup, like jl, alpine, pioneer, or any other speaker system, and see what you like. heres a link on the specs if you need to know.

Thanks man,
If I didn't go bose I was thinkin xplod, because I had heard that their interior speakers were pretty good. How do the Focals stack up? Also, what kind of amp would you recommend with them?

Re: Bose speakers question?
With my focals i used a 4 channel jl amp, cause it was cheap at the time. If i had to compare focal to xplod, there is no comparison, I would rather use the xplode as a paperweight then anything else. Xplodes came with my teg when i had first gotten it, and it was horrible IMO. at a certain volume i would hear bad screeching sound. I ended up tossing them, when i found the focals for sale. It depends how much you want to spend, and if money not a factor, i suggest whatever sounds better to you.
