does a 4g63 "bolt in" to a 90-95 talon...
If it's a 1995 non-turbo talon you DONOT want to do that swap. Your talking thousands of buck worth of parts and management and a load of welding and custon fitment. Trust me and just trade the non-turbo in for a turbo car. Check out http://www.dsmtalk.com for more info. For a 1990-1994 you can turbo the 2.0 by using all the turbo parts from a gst/gsx/tsi/rst but if it's a 1.8 you're SOL.
I did not know honda's started using 4g63s....heheheheheh... just kidding.
There are several versions of the 4g63 engine.
1. The 8 valve 8g63
2. The 16 valve 145hp 4g63
3. The 16 valve single and twin turbo 4g63 making 200-220hp.
The first ones where the first generation 4g63. They came with either a turbo or NA and was used on early galants and mitsubishi Lancers. This was back in the eighties. Back then, these engines rock! at least in the Philippines.
The second and third were used in the Galant VR4 and Eclipse and are interchangable. The difference is the turbo. It came as a N/A, single turbo and twin turbo. The tubos have extra passages for better oil circulation.
To add to the post above, on adding a 4g63 turbo to a non turbo car (although using the same 16valve block) will be difficult and expensinve. Might as well buy a used turbo car.
Hope this helps.

Twin turbo 4G63? And which car was this equipped with? *Obviously it isn't anything USDM*
Its used in the galant VR4s rally car. Back in the late 80's the VR4s was mitsubishi's flagship in rallies. Sort of like the Lancer Evolution now.
As mentioned it will be extremely difficult to swap a Turbo 4g63 into a NT 95-99 eclipse as they come with the 420a engine which is a completely different engine (same as in a 1g neon
) but if you are talking about a 1990-1994 DSM it is as easy as just bolting on the parts from a turbo car. The NT engine in the 1990-1994 cars is a 4g63 that is exactly like a non turbo engine but the compression I believe is slightly higher and the throttle body is actually bigger believe it or not. Good luck

I actually have most of a non-turbo 4G63 from a 1994 Eclipse in my garage right now, and the only differences between the turbo and nt is pistons (higher compression for nt), a lack of oil squirters under the pistons for the nt, and a lack of a plug for a knock sensor. But, putting a junkyard turbo kit on a nonturbo eclipse actually isn't that hard or expensive. Not worth it in my opinion when you can buy one that already has one, is faster, and is tuned for it.

A 90-94? You gotta give more details. But really you should mosey on over to dsmtalk.com and do a search. There are guys there that have done the swap and know a shitload abput DSMs.
I am from DSMtalk and I am probably in the top 5 as far as post counts are concerned so that should give you an idea of the reading and knowledge I have about the car. If it is for a 1990-1994 car it isn't that hard. If it is for a 1995-1999 it will take a lot of work as it is a completely different motor that is in the engine and completely different motor mounting locations. As mentioned before you really need to be more specific if you want good help.
yea, I'm on there all the time. I just recently achieved the title "rediculous dsmtalker", I think there are maybe at most 3 people who have that ranking
