B16 into CRX... Having clutch adjustment problems.....
I just finished the swap and when i tried reversing it wouldnt go into gear.
I adjusted the cable little by little and tried testing it.
Finally, i got to the point where it will go into gears but there is no play at all.I literally dont know what to do. I tried driving it and the pedal is down to the floor and when i twitch it releases into gear....
Im using the Heavy Duty ACT Clutch. Pedal feel sucks... What do i do guys?
Anything is helpful!
I wanna start doing my break in, so i can put the turbo in.....

Re: B16 into CRX... Having clutch adjustment problems..... (EightOhOne)
im using the stock 89 CRX cable.... I cut some of the links out and fitted it....
I called CRXGURU and he says thats what i was supposed to do....
a friend of mine told me i should buy a new cable (same one) becuase it has 180,000 miles on it and it may be stretched.....
what do you guys think?
So far i adjusted it more (tighter) and now it goes into gear and drives fine.... But still i need to press the living crap out of it. Releases about an inch off the floor board as well. Is that normal?

maybe try cutting a little bit more off it, to give it some more room to adjust with. If not, you can always pick up a 90-91 teg cable, and it should work for you
