OBD2 + Straight pipe = lean??

Default OBD2 + Straight pipe = lean??

correct me if im wrong, but if theres a obd 2 car with a striaght up with a stock ecu, will the same reading, which cuases it to try to fix it by making my a/f mixture more lean....??

ill take that as a yes

took out my plugs last night, they are extremely FROSTY. would it be more safe to run a p28 (virgin) on an em1 w/ a straight pipe or just F it and put my cat back??

send me your p28 and ill chip it with the JDM P30 program...great program for that setup...i used to run it...i also have a obd2b type r ecu for sale

no it wont be lean dude. your check engine light will come on tho because the secondary post o2 will not be getting a good reading. A test pipe is for better flow, less restriction. Ths secondary o2 is for catalytic effeciency. so since you have a straght pipe it wont get any reading at all.

this is why you need to get your p28 chiped...it doesnt care about the 2nd o2 sensor...

do you have a wideband and can prove this? yes it runs lean under most conditions but when you go into vtec im sure like most honda's it runs very rich
