Will installing a test pipe on my 1999 integra cause the check engine light to come one or cause any other problems??
I have a cherokee that i put a test pipe on, and it a caused the check engine light to come on.....
Your feedback would be much appreciated.

yes, your 2ndary o2 sensor will read a malfunctioned catalytic converter.

 

you need an OBDI ecu cause it doesnt use that 2nd o2 sensor.

 

yes it will come on, and yes you will go deaf!!! I ran a test pipe for 5 days and i must say i couldn't stand it! Even crusing at 3k it hurts your ears. Smells like crap too!

dunno about the o2, but it ALWAYS smells like fuel/burnt fuel...it's weird.

beautiful smell to me! -- i &lt;3 my Omni test pipe!

 

You can use 2 spark plug defoulers, one w/ a hole in it to give yourself a chance of not throwing a code
