Default HELP! Broken clutch pedal assembly

A weld came off on my clutch pedal around the pivot point without me knowing it. like i said i didnt know it so i just kept driving around normally. now my pedal has bent to the right and I cant get enough leverage on my clutch to engage! I need to know if this has happened to anyone and what they did. also, if you can tell me how i can take the pedal assembly out to take it to get rewelded or just replaced that would be great too.
TIA

I forgot to say this is a 91 crx hf with b18b andb16 tranny, but i guess the engine type isnt really need for this anyways is it? Oh well maybe it can help

Wreckers, pick a new assembly for dirt cheap. Bought mine for 5$ when I did my conversion.

When the bar that held my clutch bracket, to the rest of the assembley broke. I just bent it back, and stuck my MIG torch up there, and welded it back together. Held up fine since. This was about 6-7 months ago.

I dont recomend ANYONE, Welding upside down and in there dash tho. I did it because i needed the car back on the road that day. So if your gonna weld it back together, im in no way implying that you weld in your dash.

However in your case it seems replacement may be the only option. Since it broke on the pivot.

That happened to me about 5 years ago, I was driving my car on my way to Englishtown--the clutch pedal pivot broke when I was 30 minutes away. I just unbolted everything and bought a new bracket. It happens because of the heavy pedal pressures, I guess its more common than I thought.

In no particular order
Steering column
Heater ducts
Fuse box and assorted wires

Takes about 90 minutes to take everything out carefully with hand tools, a little quicker to put it back together.
