removing fuel lines?

Default removing fuel lines?

is there a special way to remove fuel lines?.. im putting in a b16a into an EF hatch and need to get the fuel lines off of the old fuel rail, and also i have a new fuel filter to install. i just cant get the furl lines off? i also need to get the old fuel line off of the b16 that hmotors cut when they remove them from the donor car.. thank you!

Nothing special is really needed. They are just extremely tight. Just make sure that you are going the correct direction (loosen) and have a good solid "bite" onto the nut as you are loosing it.
When you do get the line removed, there are washers. Make sure you replace them or reuse them in the correct order.

is that from the fuel filter side?

how do i remove them from the fuel rail, or the metal elbow's? does the whole elbow come off or just the rubber tube? also can i just reuse the ones from the civic on the b16?
