GSR Starts really bad now after replacing fuel line from filter to fuel rail, advice?
Car starts very badly now. It have to prime the fuel twice before I turn the key. So I did a little test, checked the fuel cap. Is there still pressure, yes. Why, check valves. No issues back at the tank.
New idea maybe air is getting into the new hose or fittings.
Gas milage is way worse after the change. Half tank 100 miles, normal is 150 miles. Nearly two gallons evaporated.
I have double check all the fittings, torque settings and for leaks, nothing.
Tonight I'm going to remove the hose and see how much fuel is actually in it. My guess after sitting for 6-7 hours not much.
Anyone else ever have a issue like this?

I have order another aftermarket replacement hose. The one I used was a B&R. Didn't have time on Sunday to take it apart again yet. Will do it tonight, no other plans.

I removed the hose. I had NO fuel in the fuel rail. All gone, just as I suspected.
It some how all evaporated. Holes in the hose or gaps around the fittings that are letting air in but not letting fuel out. Now I'm waiting on the replacement hose from Jegs.
