Default Best price for a CF Hood

Hey guys, i think im gonna blow about a grand on my car next week when i get paid, im gonna get a carbon fiber hood and some 1 pc headlights..

Wheres the best site to order a carbon fiber hood? What brand should i look for?

I dont want to get a crappy one that bubbles up and cracks.

Look in the sponsor section for the hood, get vis, seibon some grade A or AA quality. If it were me i would get the hood recleared a few times before putting it on for extra protection. But thats just me.

It gives it a lil more protection from the original clearcoat from peeling/fading. But just because you reclear when you first get it doesn't mean you can't take care of it. It still should be waxed oftenly.

yeah true true... just make sure the guy doing the clear coat knows what he's doing. the last thing you want is clear cloat runs or uneven spots.

I want with the VIS OEM Style CF hood..

So should i just take this to a reputable paint shop and get a clear coat on it?

Should a cf hood be waxed more often then regular paint on cars?

If the car is not garaged, then i would wax it atleast once a month.
