Default ECU Pins

i'm swapping a b16a1 into my 91 crx si and i am on the search for ECU pins for the few wires i need to add to my connectors. everyone says go to the dealer, so today i went over to acura and they knew what i was talking about but didnt seem to know if/where they had them. so i went across the highway over to honda and they said the exact same thing. i've also called around to local performance shops but have had no luck. besides a yard, does anyone know of a good source? i of course only need a few. all help is appreciated thanks!

http://www.ahmotor.com

They give much more helpful info than the dealer.

I gave them a call upon reading this topic. The guy told me he doesn't have it, or know of the part number.

I'd also like to know this answer too.

I remember ALONG time ago, back on the real old Hybrid board, someone had posted a part number to this kit....I'll be damned if I can find it anywhere though.

Just go to the junkyard and cut some plugs out of a car.

If you get the pins from Honda/Acura you need to crimp on the wire. It can be done with any pair of needle nose pliers but it may not hold. You need a special crimping tool. Trust me on this one...

Keebler,

You are correct in stating that you could solder it as well as crimp it with a pair of pliers. I have done this before and it does work. It is just time consuming. If you are only doing a couple of pins it is no big deal.

Good luck with what ever path you choose.

So kenji, do you know where to get NEW pins from (dealer, other source)?
