car has PROTHANE bushings in all suspension points = $240USD... made everything tight and solid
H&R + Koni = 680...first setup, good ride, predictable, not harsh if on softer settings
GC + Koni = 800...everyone has this setup, performs well, don't like the spring having no preload, sucks for me...i like catching air.
tein flex = 1200...nice, lots of cool factor when it wasn't on EVERYONEs car. performed well, lots of adjustment, looks pretty. great for street, autox, drag, road course
OG omni = 600...no dampening adjustability, i like being able to preload, lots of height adjustment on the lowering side, can't go high enough to look stock. great for all purposes like TEIN, seems softer than FLEX, but work just as well...track times are similar at the end...just different in different sections.
don't underestimate your tires, they provide suspension and determine your final suspension settings. when you change tires, you have to change your settings to match. for example, my direzza's need more camber than the pirellis and falken.

oh, tanabe front upper and lower bars = 180 (had cusco on the bottom, but a tire shread on the freeway changed that)

my setup:
eibach sportline springs
tokico illumina shocks (5 way adjustables)
progress 22mm rear sway
oem Ex 22mm front sway
ES endlinks and bushings for the sway bars
00 Si front tower bar
benen rear tower bar
Hx wheels on stock tires ( for now)

car handles like a mother ******..its a 98 cx hatchback. i take corners at 50 easy, and the rear gives out without using the e-brake....rear inner wheel comes off the ground...with the shocks set soft, its a super comfy ride.

progress rear sway is defnatly the best part of the setup...makes me love stock tires. lol

plan on rear disc and new bushings soon...probly after the winter.
wouldnt mind going 5 lug, but out here in NYC...theyll rob you at gun point for your car these days...had my last hatch stolen so im keeping this one on the low.

Current Set Up: Tokico Illuminas + Eibach springs (came with car)

Too lazy to install set up: APEXi N1 (por gratis); Cusco tower bars, Type 40 front & Type OS rear (por gratis); Cusco rear upper arm (por gratis); SPC LCAs (por gratis); Energy Suspension poly bushings ($100); undecided on rear lower tie bar and sway bars.

i got a 94 honda del sol and i live in NC but come home to see my family in VA so its about a 250 mile drive for me...

I have the Basic Damper Tein Suspension Kit... it rides GREAT on the highway and when I wanna play around with my car at home back on the country roads the performance comes out there.... For around 650 if you look around I highly suggest this suspension kit...

And its really easy 2 install 2 so thats always an extra plus

96 cx hatch/h&r sports+koni yellows= $600

98 ITR/mugen lowdown sports= $1600

96 993/Bilstein PSS9= $2300

I'm very happy with the h&r sports/konis in the hatch. moderate drop with lots of adjustability. Koni is a quality shock.

h&r sports had the highest spring rates of the moderate drop springs. very firm, but not harsh. much better spring/shock match than the mugen setup in the ITR.
