Default Best Suspension

What would be the best suspension to get on my 4door ek.. Mainly drive on highway and thew the city bumpy roads? Any help?

Did you try searching? This question comes up like once a week. I think the usual response is ground control springs with koni shocks. Dont really pay attention to these so i dont remember correctly.

tein and k sports are nice and not to bad on the pocket book.

I swear this question pops up atleast 1-2 or more times a week.
And it's the same thing every time.


For a good Tein coilover your going to go broke buying them. Tein suffers from that stupid JDM tax. meaning, their prices are a lot highier than they should be.

Take a look at Koni/gc or even AMR. This is if you have 8-1300 to spend. Now, if you have less, take a look at progress coilovers, or even, a nice lowering spring and shock setup.

that suspension list is pretty well formed.
theres a couple others you could throw in there around the 600 range.


as for the OP. i run eibach sportline and kyb agx's. the best i would say is amr. then koni/gc. then anything along the line of what im running now.

That's great and all, until we get one of the regular frequent posts about people receiving leaky shocks from the distributor.

I just put the Progress CSII on my Db and I love them. Im riding decently low (probably 2.5-3.0) even with the shitty roads here in Denver the ride quality is pretty good. Less then $600 shipped too.

Depends on how much money you are willing to put out. My opinion, would be the Koni Yellow/Ground Control setup. Koni has lifetime warranty on those shocks and depends on how low you go, how often you track your car, you could always send it back to fix.
