93' shoulder belt rail stopped
I searched recent and new , did not find anything related to the shoulder belt rail.
My 93' has the retracable shoulder belt and has stopped retracting.
It has stopped in the forward position, and gave no indication of a malfunction before it stopped working. It just stopped cold. I did notice that just before it stopped ( 2 engine starts ), the door open beeping persisted to beep ( 2 times ) after door close and acceleration. I open/closed door, and it stopped. Then, the next time I went somewhere,
the shoulder belt would not retract. From what i know, the door beep switch, is not the switch that actuates the Belt. But, it may tie in in the circuit somehow. The switch for the rail is in the door latch itself. Anyone experience anything similar ? TIA.

the belt could just be stuck.. check to see if the belt tension is tight. mine happened like that, and the belt was just jammed and was so tight it would allow itself to move anywhere and would beep and do what yours is saying..
if its not that.. check fuses or something, if still..
