My air doesn't work/heat did start working. Was told that it was probably the compressor. Honda dealership can't look at it until Monday. I get an alarm installed in my car yesterday and my car starts making this loud humming noise while I'm driving. I call Circuit City and they say the alarm couldn't be the problem. Just ironic that it would all of a sudden start making noises after the alarm is installed! Ok, so I am told that it sounds like it's the compressor going bad and to get it checked out ASAP. Do little driving as possible...ok, well I had to work today and I wasn't sure if I could drive my car. Any suggestions on what I need to do??? I was told that if I didn't get it checked AsAP that the 'belt' could snap? Should I drive??? I don't know much about cars...and I don't know if the place I called about getting a compressor is open today b/c of the holidays! HELP!!! It makes a horrible noise when I crank it, humms when I drive, silent when I cut it off.
