electric problem?? HELP

Default electric problem?? HELP

ok tonight when i come out of my g/f's house i turn the key to start the car and before it even cranks all the lights shut off and i lose all power and the car wont start. never happened before so im like wtf so i get out and pop the hood and before i even touch anything the alarm goes ******* beserk and starts making all kinds of sounds, this goes on for like 30 sec. it all the sudden stops and everything goes back to normal like nothing ever happened and the car starts right up??? WTF. somone help

dun really know, i bought the car about 3 months ago and the guy didnt really clarify, the keychain says rattler on it??

do a google seacrh for that alarm company and try to get some info on it or find one of their dealers that can take a look at it for you.

that does sound like an alarm issue to a point. i had the same thing happen on my Saturn. alarm would go crazy every now and again, wouldnt like to start, really weird clicking noise once in a while. ended up that the battery was really old and the alarm had taken a toll on it for too long. i got a new battery and every thing worked fine.

the clicking was the alarm module trying to get the needed power. there just wasnt enough power to bypass the alarm, turn on the interior lights and the stereo all at the same time. take your battery to Advance and get it tested for free.

go up under the dash and unplug all harnesses ffrom the alarm brain, see if it helps/ see where its grounded and make sure its all good too.

maybe i should look into another battery, i think its pretty old. i wanna get a optima anyways
