Default Hard brakes

Rotors have hot spots....will replacing the pads make the braking on the pedal softer?

no, most likely your rotors are warped. You need to have them turned or replaced

Turned, where they resurface them. Or else get new blank rotors.

its really easy.....2 bolts for caliper 2 bolts for caliper bracket and 2 screws for rotors......be careful you dont strip them they are a bitch to remove sometimes.....almost forgot you need a bolt that fits into the holes in the rotor to pop them off....not the hole for the screws the other ones

no you dont need to replace the caliper. Just go to auto zone and pick up some brake pads and go at it. Super easy to do. No bleeding required for what your doing. Best way to learn is to roll your sleeves up and get in there. If you have a question while in the middle of your job, take a break and take a trip to Honda-tech. good luck and have fun
