H22: Custom Fuel line.
Hello,
first off i searched may times but nothing really comes up. I know alot of people just use a h23 fuel rail and use the stock line, but i already cut my line and dont have a usdm rail.
I want to make a custom braided ss line that will connect right to the stock filter and to the h22a fuel rail. heres the problem. what connections should i use and what type/model. All i know is the stock uses banjo style connectors to go from the filter to the rail.
Im hopeing some one knows the answer for me and all others that ask this question quite abit but never really gets answered. So what types and size of connectors are used?

well i looked into it and making a custom line with all the fittings i need might be fairly pricey. i may go aftermarket rail and just a normal ss line.
If anyone has pictures of there setup's please post them

Call FAST-TURBO.COM. ask for Stan or IM him I think he's screen name on HT is Flamenco-T. He'll make the steel braided lines and fitting for you with what ever setup you have. I think it was 125 shipped or somewhere around there for the line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail, from the rail to the regulator, and from the regulator to the fuel return line. He gave me a deal for the steel braided lines, GE fuel rail and Aeromotive fpr. This was for an h22 setup in an EG.
I remember on my H22 crx I had to relocate my fuel line to the driver side. There was a guy local who used the OEM banjo fittings that were cut down the line and was able to use them to make a longer fuel line costed me like $20 lol
I guess there are some good places in Shelton WA! haha

Only thing with that, some hose places will not not touch it because it have to be DOT complaint. Some shops are cool about it others are dicks.

I took my stock line to a machine shop. They removed the fittings and pressed them on to a longer line. It only cost me about 15 bucks. Just a thought.

This is what I did originally. It was a mistake, the longer line affects the fuel delivery and fuel pressure in actual driving situations. When I switched to a 90-93 Accord fuel rail and stock length fuel line it really made a difference in the run-ability of the motor. I would suggest keeping the length of the fuel line stock, unless you have a fpr to regulate the slight drop in fuel pressure. It may seem petty, but it made a noticeable difference for me.

ive seen your fuel setup when searching before, very nice i must say!. mines going to be about the same but without the fpr and the extra lines, i might install a fpg on the fuel rail tho
.
.
i just ordered some lines and fittings from summit racing. -6 AN hose, -6 AN 12mm 1.25 banjo. You can use banjo on both fuel rail and fuel filter with a gauge ontop of fuel filter or you can get a 12mm/-6 an male to connect to the filter then get a -6 AN female/ -6 AN hose connector.
