you cant unless u change your whole a/c system to the 99-00 si a/c system.. its all motorized.. thats what u need.. unless u dont have a/c and u want it for looks... then just bolt it in... i seen that climate control, that **** is rare... i wanted to get it also but then i had the same problem u have... good luck...

u cant use the heat/cold dial to control your heat from the RS climate control ... remember the dial is a switch to open and close and control how much air flow u want from hot or cold on the air vents from the 99-00 civics.. the 96-98 civics vents is maually opened or closed by a cable.... so if u dont have a/c but still want heat coming in your car, leave the cable open for heat and just remove it from the car or hide it.. and if ur asking about the rest being plug and play, experiment with it... see what plugs fit in to what... i know for sure that either the defroster or emergency plugs need to be modified... its one of those i forgot which switch was it.. this is for the jdm 96-98 climate control ctr,sir,vi-rs, etc... i have a 97 ek and i slapped on a 96-98 ctr climate control but i had to modify only ONE of those switchs... (defrost button/ emergency button) the other one is plug and play... but good luck man hope everything works out for your car bro...
