BOOST+VTEC=DISASTER?
Is it true that it's incredibly bad for an engine with vtec to be boosted? I hear that I should change the cams and all this ****... If vtec is bad for a car with boost, when the time comes, couldn't I get a vtec controller and turn it all the way up so it doesn't engage? Little help would go a long way!

LS motors are great for boost becuase of the compression, but there is nothing wrong with boosting a motor with VTEC

Dude you must be pretty young if you don't know what a flux capacitor is and the important role it plays in making time travel possible.
VTEC and Turbo does not equal disaster. Bad tuning equals disaster. Not too familiar with the 500 hp turboed VTEC engines eh?

I know capacitors are used to up boost on stock applications, very popular with VW GTI's and **** and the 1.8T Jetta. Uhh, so anywho, there isn't going to be like any kind of crazy **** goin on right? If boost is up before vtec hits, will I still feel vtec?

Same here.
It is a little harder to tune because of the two cam profiles, but it is far from a "disaster".

First of all, a capacitor is used in audio equipment. What you mean is a diode, which we (VW 1.8T owners) use to clamp the MAP sensor to only see X amount of boost while using in conjunction an MBC or EBC to control boost to whatever we want. Cheap HP.

Um, high compression + boost = disaster. Not Vtec + boost. In fact the JDM EJ20 in the Euro and Jap WRX STI has Variable Valve timing and it kicks all kindza ***. And damn guys, you're killin this poor kid. But if you can get 1.21 gigawatts outta that stock coil, I'd love to see it.
