actually don't post under FI forum unless you want to get rediculed ... they'll tell you to search and go JRSC

I want to go JRSC. I know, I know. Turbo has more power blah blah blah...

What I want is more low-end/midrange power. Not just high end. That's what I like about the JRSC.

My buddy dyno'd 230whp with JRSC. That's very respectable.

would anyone say there to be a safe turbo kit, I have heard that the Greddy kit is very safe. Supposedly even safer, than the JRSC

i would/did go turbo (drag).. but you really have to tell us what you expect... how much money do you plan on spending, how much power do you expect on getting, what you use your car for, where you want the power, are you going to build up your motor so you can boost more or leave it for the most part stock?

do you have enough money for a rebuild on the block (pistons and rods, maybe bored sleeves) if it blows up 15 seconds later?? ---- if so, then go turbo

if not, go supercharger

Supercharger is NOT a waste of money. I have friend's with SC'd GS-R and Type-R, and they are pretty damn fast... Not a waste imo...

Why don't you tell us what you intend to do with it? Depending on what you're looking for, one may be better than the other.

People who are biased towards one or another type of forced induction are ignorant.

I have a jackson racing supercharger. Right now I pull about high 13s boosting 6lbs. Modes are also kamikaze headers, intake, greddy cat back exhaust, and cam gears tuned. I recently got a vtec controller and tuned that. I ran my friend who has the greddy street legal turbo kit. I have to give it props cuz when he shifts that blow off valve sounds hellooo tight. Makes me want to go turbo just to hear the psssffftt. But than we ran and I took him out by about 5 cars off the line and maybe 3 to 4 cars at the end of the track with a slipping clutch. We went to about the middle of 4th. It slipped hard too in 2nd. So whos to say superchargers are that much worst than turbos. Both are street legal kits boosting 6lbs. He had same modes and even the same exhaust. Just no vtec controller. Now a t3/t4 I am gonna run in another week. This should be a good race. He should beat me considering it is a bigger turbo but it aint street legal if you worry about that. I know you can get away around it getting the carb# from a greddy turbo kit. Well thats my lines..
