Default Help with Small Oil Leak w/Pics

Just got my motor back up and running good after a rebuild that lasted nearly two years. The car had about 400 mi. when i noticed a small oil leak between the tranny and block. I checked my oil 3 times and each time it was reading AT LEAST half a quart too much. Only it didnt seem like my oil pressure gauge was reading high. I guess my mechanic must of overfilled the dam thing, im prolly lucky i didnt spin a bearing or worse. Ive yet to take it past 5k anyhow due to my valves needing some re-adjusting. but then i changed the oil, since it was about that time anyways, and made sure it was at the proper level. Now, im thinking its a small leak from the rear main seal, but i just did some investigating and took some pics so maybe you guys can give me some more incite on this. I apologize if the pics come out huge bc i have no means of re-sizing them atm. TIA

First of all here is the puddle that has accumulated over the past week and a half. Its not much and im still full on oil according to my dipstick.

First thing i noticed was this bolt that looks slightly lose on the top/rear between the tranny and block. However the entire top of the tranny and side of the block is spotless....

This ones not a very good pic but this is where the majority of oil seems to be coming from. This is the bottom/rear of it.

I noticed some grime and oil here a little as well. Lower/front side.

The area on the left has a pretty good build-up of grime but i dont think is actually leeking anything. The right area is where its coming from though.

Any input is very appreciated, Thanks .

I think you should check the rear main seal, it looks like it to me.

You sure it's oil and not gear lube from your tranny?

The last pic you show looks like it is leaking from your differential cover.

If you are not sure, you can unbolt the inspection cover in front of the tranny and check to see if it is wet near the flywheel.

If it is not, then I am still guessing that your tranny is leaking... They are known to do that as there is no gasket for it.

But pictues are sometimes hard to read...

You have to remove the tranny, clutch, and flywheel to get to it. It's behind all those.
