i just bought this car it is a 94 rs 5 speed got it for 1000. but some time it does not start, i dont kno what is wrong with it. i wire tucked most of the wires in the engine bay, but everything is still connected and i dont kno what it could be.

i get in the car and put the key in and turn it and nothin happens, it make all the noises, like everything is priming and when i turn it the gas pump is on so it is getting gas. but still wil not start, so then i wait a couple of sec. and try it again still nothin, and again wait for a little and then it starts like nothin happened. does not struggle at all. i thought it was bacause it was cold but even when i am driving it for a while and get out for like 20 min and get back in it will still do it ( she kind of does it when ever she wants to)
DOES ANYONE KNO WHAT IS UP? i kno nothin is srreiously wrong with her i just want to kno if i did somethin while wire tucking thanks in advance

 

get a new battery

 

check you ignition, sounds like it might be going bad

how would i check this would i put an volt meter to it or something and if i do what reading should i get thanks

i do not think it is my battery everything else works fine lights are fine and bright and all dash light and acc. are running. so it is prob the ignition how hard is it to switch out

im wondering the same thing because i think my ignition is going too... i have the same exact problem with my 99 GSR.
