Default Code 15 Ignition output signal... HELP

Okay first of all I tried searching but the search engine is down, I need to get this thing fixed cause it's bugging the living shat outta me. Here's the rundown, I had a cel for the TPS sensor fixed it cleared the code and then I started the car and now I have a cel 15, ignition output signal. I wanna know if this code would cause the idel to fluctuate? I know that the wires that I should be looking at are the blue wire and the black and yellow wire that go to the dizzy, but is there anything else you guys might suggest? One more thing I'm working on a DX w/ a B16.

TIA

looks like your ignitor/ICM or the coil are bad... those are in the distributor.... have them checked out and replaced if needed.. that should fix your problem

Okay I found that the 2 wires for the dizzy are kinda messed up... i mean they're connected and all but they're bare in one place, could that cause the cel?

Also does this cel cause irratic idle cause that's the only cel that it throwing...

This code would cause a rough idle and some back fire (little poppers), nothing major though.

If the wires are bare they have a chance of touching and shorting something. Cover them with electircal wire and reset the code. Also take off the dist cap and see and smell if anythings burned. If so then you need to replace the coil or ignitior.

lol, has it been that long working on cars that you fix one problem to cause another Hector. Sheesh

Actually yeah bro, J/K. I'm just tired bro, I took the engine out of my friends hatch and then took the engine out of my hatch and dropped it in his all in about 8 hours... I still have to drop the other engine in my car that I bought with the money from the B16 I sold.

"Need work done for a cheap price in the So Cal Area?"

Wanna drive down here and put the motor in my hatch for me, I'm freaking tired, lol.

J/P I asked one of my other friends the same question and he said give me $150.00 and I'll do it... lol.

Every time i hear from you its another car. Sheesh. baller

Anyway try what i said and see if that helps. Also so you know Ignitors and coil are universal in the honda world. So if you have a Civic dist. laying around doing nothing gut it and use it in the B16.
