hard to put car in 1st gear when I first start it up
when I first turn on the car for about 15-30 min, its sometimes hard to put it in first gear. I can go to second, and then 1st. It only does it sometimes, usualy when I'm fully stopped. What could be the problem?
Change the trans fluid first, see if that doesn't do anything.
I would not lean to the syncro idea first. If it was the syncro it would grind or cruch going into gear. It sounds more like that the clutch is starting go. You will probably find that reverse does the same thing. I have had numerous cars do this, all make and models and it was the clutch going out.
When was yours last replaced?

hmmm i have had a couple of integra's i really think that is normal for them. On my old ls it was like that. It would only do it on a fully stop some times and reverse. My clutch was fine heck even my Type R does it so i really think it is normal i just deal with it.
I would check to see if your clutch master cylinder's seals are leaking. You can look under you dash and see if it is leaking. It is a common problem in civics and integras with hydro trannys.
my car does the same thing when the car is moving it wont go to first i have to put it in second then first, but if i stop ill go in first fine i dont know if thats normal .

Hes on the right track here.
Your clutch master cylinder may not leak, but it may be worn out. You can check my pressing the clutch. it should be firm all the way through if u touch the pedal and there is play or alot of play then u have a problem or if ur clutch is stiff and engagement point is very low.
if you have what i said then ur putting extra wear on the synchro and sleeve for that gear.

The transmission is NOT designed to go into first when you are rolling. That is why it is hard to go into at anytime. Yes at 3-5mph it should be fine, but downshifting into first is not nesessary.

if you are trying for a spirited row through the gears from a slow roll, it *is* necessary in a car with as little torque as an integra to downshift to first to accelerate quickly. forcing the synchros to work too hard is not good though, hence the resistance you are feeling. not to sound like a ricer here, but next time you are rolling and want to select first, try and double clutch it, it will slip right in gear if you rev it correctly, regardless of how fast you are rolling

You don't double clutch to rev match. You just blip the throttle, do a search, plenty of info on how to do it.
