Need help!!!!! Car wont go into gear. Lots of freeplay in clutch.
Well I drive a 94 civic lx, and I tried to start my car one morning. The car was really hesitant to start, and the car wouldnt go into gear. I let it idle for a bit until it hit running temp. And the car finally went into gear with some force. The clutch felt like it had alot of freeplay in it. And what i was wondering was is this a clutch master cylinder problem? or just the slave cylinder? Also j/w if anyone else was having this prob??? Thanks for all the info ahead of time. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

You could (most likely) have a leak in the system.
If you start it clutched in 1st does it die or want to die?
You can try bleeding your clutch. Also, look on the floor by the pedals and see if it's wet there (the clutch fluid backs up and slides down in there when the seal breaks).
EDIT:
PS: Is it only 1st, or is it every gear? How's 2nd?

Well theres about and inch or so of free play in my clutch pedal. And the gears are starting to grind. depending on what gear. hard to get it into 2nd some grind in 1st. and rarely 3rd. So I'm not sure whats going on with my car. What do you think?

I had something like that happen to my stock clutch twice.
The first time was because the master cyl mysteriously ran out of fluid and needed to be bled and re-filled.
The second time the clutch actually fell apart and was wedged between the pressure plate and the flywheel.
