Default F22B Head gasket Question. . . searched

Hey Guys i just got my car Turbo 3 months ago and still had the factory head gasket and have already blew it.I am having the hardest time finding a good quality head gasket that will hold 10PSI or more if i decide to go higher on a built motor later.I have tried Cometics,i have tryed golden eagle.I do not want to put OEM on there casue i know it will blow agian.A friend of mine mention that i could go with two factory head gaskets and through the together and put it on and i do not want to do that.I would like to know if anyone is runnign a good quality head gasket on an F22B1 vtec motor that is boosted and not leaked or blown yet.The speed shop im going through has taken them 4 weeks to get me an answer if they can get one for my car or not. Please if someone can help it is much appriciated. Thanks alot.

an OEM gasket will not blow out. It is multi-layered steel and is a very good gasket stock.

you probably were experiencing head lift. get yourself a new OEM gasket, some ARP head studs (buy the H23 kit it fits perfect), and copper spray for the gasket.

if you do that and torque the head studs down correctly you should have no problems in the future.

there are no aftermarket F series head gaskets that I know of.

Just get a new OEM headgasket... you won't find a better one out there

I had the same problem with my car. I just bought a new copper head gasket for mine from Flat Out Gaskets. You should give them a try if you dont want to use OEM

I have a f22b doch non-vtec motor that is in my 93 prelude. i just had my timing belt break and i replaced my valves. I am all ready to put it back together but i dont know what gasket kit i need, i need a head gasket, intake gasket, exahust gasket, and valve cover gasket. What kit do i use for this f22b, or do i part it out and if so what do i need of each. (i heard that the h23 gasket kit fits perfect). but is that a h23a or what.

Try CB7Tuner.com. There's alot more F22B DOHC owner, and I'm sure there's a bunch of infos on that motor over there.
