*EMERGENCY* engine light blinks/car sputters!!!
Just tonight my car started sputtering during all 5 gears. When i put car in gear and push the throttle down, the car sputters lightly and throttle response is lagged! Engine light is also blinking! Can someone help!?
already explained, your engine light is blinking because there is a serious misfire in your engine, which could result in unburned gas pouring into your exhaust and in the longrun ruining your catalytic converter.
if your engine is already sputtering, take it to a shop, we can tell you what to do, but i doubt your going to do a engine overhaul yourself, so take it to a mechanic soon

What makes you think it needs to be overhauled? Maybe it has a bad plug wire or something.

he should have it brought to either a dealership or mechanic to have it looked at anyways, i go by a saying "always treat your problems as if they could be the worst, and they never will be" meaning, it could be a bad wire, but, should he diagnose that himself, replace it and continue to drive it? no, he shouldnt take that chance.

however i do agree with you, and that could very well be the problem and for this guys sake i hope that it is, but ive always had trouble in thinking that things arent as bad as they really are, and paying for it in the end, so just by past experience, i think for the worst
If you don't yet know how to interrogate the ECM (pull a code), take the car down to Autozone. I believe they've a service where they'll scan it and tell you which codes you've got.
With that info in hand, we can guide you to your most likely problem.
The problem is that a misfire can be caused by not only the ignition system, but the fuel and emissions systems as well. You want to fix it right the first time, rather than keep throwing parts at it 'till it's fixed.

eh depends on how long he'll be driving it, you never know what the problem could be and a blinking engine light should be tended to ASAP, if your autozone is close, go and get it plugged up, but he could take it to a honda dealership as well
I was thinking of the Weekend thing. Honda Dealership Service Departmants don't open on the weekends in the NorthEast. Some still think of it as a day of rest (particularly the Technicians)
