can I hone a b18 block, and still run JDM ITR STD size pistons???
depends on condition of walls i usually go oversized unless the block has seriously low miles
Honda doesnt recomend honeing unless its really needed...
If the cross hatches are still noticible visible and there're no scratches on the walls, you could go ahead and just drop new rings and call it a day..
most reccomend going oversize though....
I have stuffed new rings on an old ZC without honeing and it came out great..The walls were nice and smooth with visible cross hatches....The rings seated perfect...

its always good to keep a good, piston ring to cylinder wall surface. i mean you you look at the walls and you still see some cross-hatch marks, dont worry about it, but if you see some scoring, bust it out,
if you use a hone that attches to a drill that works the best, from what i use, and wd40 for lube, and get a good 45 degree angle, , lol, you can hone all day and you wont change the size of your bore.

I would .025 over and hone it down. Do it right the first time. A lot of the time with higher mileage engine, the bottom of the bore tends to be out of round or bigger than the top.
