Default how to make two peices from a u-bend anyone?

To sum it up,i have a u-bend that i need to cut in two peices. On each piece,i need to be able to weld a length to each and have them at 87 degrees...whats a good way to cut the radius part at 83 degrees so that another peice will butt up to it smoothly??Thanks anyone!

Just cut it in the middle and then ask yourself why you made something that needs to hook up at exactly 87* instead of 90*.

you need to use a line perpendicular to any tangent to make it round.

cut it in half, and take 1.5* off each side.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by backpurge &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Just cut it in the middle and then ask yourself why you made something that needs to hook up at exactly 87* instead of 90*.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Because the manifold primaries are angled that way and i did not make the manifold.
