zc wont start need help asap
hey guys whats up I just installed my zc and it wont start its getting fuel but I dont know whats wrong it turns over but it wont start I need some help soon cuz I have work tommarow

pull the plugs......one at a time... pull your #1 put it in your wire and hold it up to a ground have buddy turn it over -look for spark... try this on all plugs and see if you have spark..

I went out to try and start it and it tried to start it kinda sputteres a few times then nothin then a waited like an hour tried it again and it almost started and there was a lot of smoke and it smelled real rich it has spark now its back to not firing again any sugestions

me to its very frustrating now my daily driver is messed up and i got work tommarow and no money

.....but here's the catch.....make sure its at TIMING. it was already mentioned up above....its the TIMING. before doing anything else...check your TIMING. i repeat for the fourth time....CHECK YOUR TIMING. IM NOT BEING A SMART A$$ AND I'M ONLY TRYING TO HELP BUT MAKE SURE THE TIMING AT THE CRANKSHAFT PULLY AND THE 2 CAM SHAFT SPROCKETS are ligned up. my friend balistic crx had this problem last month...to where his car died out on him on the freeway. this might give you guys an idea to where he describe this problem and similar to your problems. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=128330

k guys heres the update after work me and my friend played with the car for a wile and found out I hooked some of the wires to the distributer wrong so now it fires up but it lags alot and will barely rev and if you hold the throttle open itle rev a little and start to bog a really lot does anyone know were I should go from here
yeah my ls swap is doing the same thing
i am not getting any spark at all!and the check engine light stays on and the ecu is not throwing and codes..i have tried swapping out ecu with a friends and nothing...no spark and no codes?????

k guys I forgot to tell you guys something really important I converted my 89 dx to si I used the 89 si interior harness but the engine harness I have was off a 88 and there was the big plug next to the resister box on the engine side it had only six wires and a square plug so I wired it up to my inside harness circle plug and 8 wires and i just left the two extra wires hanging do you guys think maybe thats why my car is running like sh*t
oh yeah finally got it runnin pulls really good compared to the dx motor the problem was the exhaust manifold I used the std model and it had to much back pressure so i used the zc top and the b16a down pipe it revs kinda slow but then pulls but thats just because I have the dx tps broke the other one thanks for all the help
hey check and make sure your plugs are all right... my ZC didnt start but came close then we messed around with the plugs and the distributor then it started up... just doestn run good laters good luck
