i was driving on the freeway and i was noticing something wrong. it sounded like my intake had gotten lose and fallen off. i didnt have no torque when i down shift. my intake was so loud when i mash on the gas. have anyone ran their car with no intake tubing or piping. that how mines felt but the only thing was that i had my take on. when i pulled to the curb and tried starting it, it was just cranking over but would not start. then i keep on doing this for a couple of times than it started but sound messed up. it was bogging and poping like a motherf***er and black smoke was coming out from the exhaust.

the posible solutions that i could think of is spark plug wires, fuel, distributor, and so on. i have a zc motor with i/h/e and a 89 integra ecu.

o'yeah when it was doing that bogging and poping sound, i had a code 9 and i think a code 8. could it be that my number 1 cylinder sensor by the distrbutor has gone bad and thats why my car wont start. if so let me know please.

dude, u just fried your distributor. so now when you crank it the dist is sending the wrong spark into the wrong hole. just go get a new dist, rotor, and cap and you will be just fine.
