hey im new to honda tech and to the turbo secne. but i have been on the all motor secne for quite awhile but i just boosted my b16a2 in a civic HB and i can only retard my timing by 3 degree's on the timing gun i run a unorthadox full race underdrive pulley and my pops and i cant figure out why we cant get it to go any higher need sugestion's bad thanks

 

first off put your stock pulley back on if you like your oil pump and bearing and then go from there

 

thanks man i told me dad that i think it might help if i put my stock one back on but i will try that tomorrow and ill get back to you about and if there is any other suggestions just drop a few lines thanks.

hey well i have a t3-to4e turbo 50-63 a/r with the unorthadox full race pully. and im running 2.5 in I C piping with a strait down pipe no O2 for right now, and i have a set of rc 310 injectors with a str fuel rail along with a adjustable fuel pressure regulater and the wastegate has a 9 Lb spring in it along with a raptor blow off valve and a front mount intercooler and jdm type-R cams and msd 6al and ext blaster 3 coil. i need the help bad i want to keep this motor alive during winter.

 

What EMS (Engine Managetment System) are you using to control those injectors?

 

well before i used 310 injectors on a vafc now im running a set of 550

 

You need something to control the timing on that thing.

Check out http://www.pgmfi.org for freeware ECU chipping. Its a good place to start regardless of what direction you decide to go (Crome, Uberdata, Hondata, Neptune etc...).

 

I have a h22 on 14 pounds...
no detonation after i got a
AEM fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator
and a walbro fuel pump...
i still need a good tune tho...
a good tune will fix most problems
like detonation
